Two Virtual training workshops for the Indian Forest Service Officers were organised on 1 – 2 March 2021 and 8 – 9 September 2021 on the topics ‘Ensuring Ecological Sustainability and Livelihood of the Tribals’ and ‘Creating People’s Networks for Sustainable Forest Management’ with 24 and 26 participants respectively from across the country. The training workshops were assigned by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India and the participating officials were of the ranks of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests to the Chief Conservator of Forests and the Divisional Forest Officers.
